Job summary

ARRK Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software Engineer to join its automotive software team in Malaysia. You will develop software running in and on vehicles, from cockpit displays to in-car interactions, contributing to both production-grade systems and forward-looking PoCs.

The role offers hands-on experience with Linux- and Android-based embedded platforms, AI features in-vehicle context and opportunities to grow toward senior technical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Solid programming skills in C++, Kotlin and Python.
• Experience with Embedded Linux and in-vehicle software.
• Familiarity with Android Automotive OS and UI development.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for Linux- and Android-based embedded systems.
• Implement UI/UX concepts for next-generation vehicle cockpits.
• Support rapid prototyping on embedded systems and mobile devices.
• Contribute to AI features in vehicle context.
• Collaborate with cross-functional international teams.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code.
• Assist debugging, testing and QA across the software lifecycle.
