We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled ELV Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, as well as providing technical support and training to clients.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem‑solving skills, and flexibility to work on project sites across Malaysia.
Requirements
- ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY
- Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA System, IT Network, SMATV, Intercom, etc.)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Willing to work anywhere in Malaysia based on project assignments
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Key Responsibilities
1. Designing & Developing ELV System Solutions
- Collaborate with consultants, architects, and project teams to develop ELV system designs
- Prepare drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
- Select appropriate equipment, materials, and system components
- Conduct site surveys and propose improvements for existing ELV installations
2. Installation, Programming & Commissioning
- Install and configure ELV systems: CCTV, Access Control, Alarm System, PA System, Networking, Intercom, SMATV, Visitor Management, etc.
- Program devices, controllers, and software applications
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and integration with other building systems
- Ensure systems operate according to specification and project requirements
3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on ELV systems
- Diagnose and resolve system faults in a timely manner
- Perform system upgrades, configurations, and firmware updates
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients
4. Project Coordination & Documentation
- Assist in project scheduling, coordination, and execution
- Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for project milestones
- Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met
5. Training & Handover Support
- Conduct training sessions for system end‑users
- Prepare user manuals, operation guides, and training materials
- Support clients during system handover and initial operation
6. Continuous Learning & Technology Updates
- Stay updated with the latest ELV technologies and industry standards
- Participate in training programs, product briefings, and industry events
