Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our team at the Malaysian office in Butterworth. You will support hardware development across the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and delivery, contributing to the first large scale battery factories globally.

The role requires PCB design experience, proficiency in Altium is a plus, and strong English communication. This is a full-time, on-site position with growth opportunities in an international company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electronic engineering.
• Proficiency in Altium is a plus.
• Experience with PCB design, analogue and digital techniques.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and testing of hardware components under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Assist in project tasks to help ensure deadlines, quality, and technical objectives are achieved.
• Support in analyzing design constraints (performance, size, power, cost) to help identify effective hardware solutions.
• Assist in creating schematic designs and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Participate in prototyping, validation, and debugging of hardware systems.
• Collaborate with global R&D team members and suppliers to support development and manufacturing efforts.
• Report to the Design Lead.

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is based at our Malaysian Office, located in Butterworth. By joining us, you will contribute to building the first large scale battery factories in Europe, Asia and the United States.

As an Electronics Engineer within one of our Cross-Functional Teams, you will support the development of hardware for various machines and assist throughout the project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to testing and delivery. More specifically, you will:

• Contribute to the design and testing of hardware components under the guidance of senior engineer
• Assist in project tasks to help ensure deadlines, quality, and technical objectives are achieved
• Support in analyzing design constraints (performance, size, power, cost) to help identify effective hardware solutions
• Assist in creating schematic designs and PCB layouts using Altium Designer

The ideal candidate has

• A Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic engineering
• Proficiency in CAD Software (Altium) is a plus
• Experience with PCB design, analogue and digital techniques
• Excellent communication skills in English
