Qualifications

Job description

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning electronic components of EV and Hybrid vehicles. This includes ECU, inverter, BMS, DME, PCB boards, ICs, and battery control systems. The role requires strong skills in soldering, troubleshooting, coding, and component‑level repair of complex automotive electronic systems.

The secondary responsibility includes participation in and development of projects related to repurposed battery systems, solar integration, inverter design, charging system and power storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair faults in EV and Hybrid electronic systems such as ECU, inverter, converter, and BMS.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair PCB boards, ICs, sensors, and control modules.
  • Perform micro‑soldering and replace damaged components (ICs, MOSFETs, resistors, capacitors, etc.).
  • Conduct functional tests and verify electronic circuit performance after repair.
  • Recondition and balance hybrid and EV battery modules (NiMH / Lithium).
  • Perform software flashing, ECU coding, and firmware updates when required.
  • Develop or modify simple test scripts or diagnostic tools using Python, Arduino, or similar platforms.
  • Record and document all repair work, test results, and configurations accurately.
  • Follow safety protocols when handling high‑voltage EV and hybrid systems.
Requirements
  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Autotronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in electronics troubleshooting or automotive electronics repair.
  • Proficient in PCB repair, soldering, and reading circuit diagrams.
  • Familiar with automotive diagnostic tools and CAN communication.
  • Basic coding or programming skills (C, Python, or Arduino).
  • Detail‑oriented, safety‑conscious, and capable of working independently.
Preferred Experience
  • Working knowledge of EV/Hybrid systems (Toyota, Honda, Lexus, BMW, Tesla, etc.).
  • Experience in ECU programming, battery management systems, or inverter repair.
  • Understanding of high‑voltage safety and testing procedures.
