Job summary

SARAWAK OIL PALMS BERHAD is seeking a reliable and technically skilled Electrician to maintain electrical systems and equipment, supporting safe and uninterrupted mill operations.

You will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, inspect and service motors, pumps, conveyors, control panels and lighting, and diagnose faults to minimise downtime. The role requires knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and safety standards, with shift work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in the palm oil mill industry is preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Possess a valid Electrical Inspectorate Unit (EIU) Sarawak Chargeman Certificate (L1/L3/H1) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of electrical maintenance, motor controls, PLCs, and fault troubleshooting.
