A logistics service provider in Selangor is looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal performance of technology infrastructure. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience in electrical systems, air-conditioning, and plumbing. Candidates must have a minimum of SPM qualification or a Diploma in Electrical Maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills. The job includes participation in on-call rotations and may require shift work, including weekends or public holidays.
This individual will work closely with operations teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our technology infrastructure.
Communicate and report all electrical, air-conditioning, and plumbing-related breakdowns in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance works to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Carry out routine building maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules and standards.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and air-conditioning system breakdowns as and when required.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurring technical issues.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance procedures, equipment configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
Assist in developing and maintaining spare parts inventory management and support procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials.
Ensure full compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies in all maintenance and repair activities.
Minimum SPM qualification with at least 1 year of relevant working experience, or Diploma in Electrical Maintenance or a related technical field, with demonstrated progression and increasing responsibilities.
Proven hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, air-conditioning units, plumbing, and general handyman works.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of normal working hours when required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
Willing to work on shifts, including weekends or public holidays as required.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for basic reporting and documentation.
