  • Role: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN / CHARGEMAN

Requirements
  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Min 3 years working experience.
  • Certifications in electrical safety, energy management, or other relevant qualifications.
  • Possess good analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations such as GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000:2018.
  • Proven ability to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Good problem solving and strong technical skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical and electrical breakdowns during production, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining product quality.
  • To assist the production team to monitor and record overall maintenance activities, inclusive of preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, machineries upgrade, etc.
  • To maintain proper maintenance records on all electrical matters inclusive of all gen-set, main switch panels to comply to Suruhanjaya Tenaga’s requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with audit requirements and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to uphold food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the production, quality assurance, and safety teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations, adhering to food safety and production standards.
  • To troubleshoot and conduct inspection on all electrical related matters inclusive of both facility and machineries.
  • To liaise with outsource contractor and ensure all outsource maintenance activities is being carried out properly.
  • To assist the Production and R&D teams to monitor on projects/upgrading activities as and when required.
  • Ensure that all electrical tasks meet local and international safety standards, such as Malaysia’s Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) guidelines.
  • Ensure M&E systems comply with GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000:2018 regulations.
  • Monitor and optimize energy consumption to reduce operational costs, ensuring compliance with food production standards and energy efficiency goals.
