A renowned manufacturing firm in Johor, Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician. This role involves conducting inspections, performing maintenance activities, and assisting with troubleshooting electrical systems. Ideal candidates will have a relevant diploma, 1-3 years of experience in electrical work, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. The position offers various benefits, including medical and insurance coverage, and is primarily Monday to Friday.
Conduct inspections of switchgears and Main Switch Boards (MSBs) with an external chargeman.
Perform monthly inspections of solar systems in collaboration with an external chargeman.
Execute building power and lighting maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairing lighting fixtures, sockets, switches, and distribution board (DB) issues.
Assist the Facilities and Infrastructure (FACI) team in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues related to ventilation exhaust fans, air conditioning systems, and other electrical systems.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of weighing bridges and scales, including preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
Monitor and report on project progress at the site.
Address Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and pest control requirements related to electrical components in plant and production areas.
Provide indirect support for plant engineering backup and recovery during power tripping incidents.
Manage issues related to electrical equipment malfunctions, water supply disruptions, and air conditioning system failures.
Regular hours, Monday – Friday (Except for shift work)
