Job description
Overview

Electrical Software Engineer designs controller system software for our customers. They will be traveling to clients\' locations, analyzing system requirements, writing and installing custom programmable logic code, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support.

Responsibilities
  • Create and read/understand logic and flow diagrams.
  • Identify and design a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose.
  • Interact/collaborate with customers on design concepts.
  • Determine machine automation test criteria before final installation.
  • Design PLC/GP programs for simulation, testing and start-up.
  • Programming of automation and control systems that use PLCs.
  • Monitor operational systems and troubleshoot problems.
  • Conduct system commissioning with customers to meet system validation at the project site.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation and post-project reports.
  • Test automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot system errors.
  • Provide clients with technical support.
Qualifications
  • Degree holder in Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Mechatronic or related engineering fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience as a PLC programmer. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply too.
  • Electrical and mechanical engineering experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel when required.
