Job summary

A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join their team in Seri Iskandar, Perak. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make significant contributions to advancing thin-film technology. Responsibilities include troubleshooting control systems, ensuring equipment inspections, and enhancing energy efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree and has at least a year of experience, along with knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in the related field.
  • Familiar with Malaysian safety standards and electrical regulations.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution systems and instrumentation devices.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead troubleshooting on electrical, instrument, and control systems.
  • Ensure inspections of all electrical facilities equipment.
  • Perform modifications and upgrades to control systems for efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems faults.
  • Liaise with third parties for electrical work.
  • Engage in energy saving activities.
  • Support commissioning and startup of new equipment.
  • Perform thermal imaging on electrical systems.
  • Plan and supervise plant shutdown activities.
