Role Overview

Oversee the electrical, control, and software engineering teams, ensuring smooth project delivery and continuous improvement in automation systems and software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and guide electrical/control/software engineering teams.
• Establish scalable processes for software development and system integration.
• Oversee software architecture, code reviews, debugging, and project execution.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to enhance product features.
• Provide on-site technical troubleshooting for control systems.
• Support project managers and customers with technical guidance.
• Review electrical schematics and design documents.
• Hire, train, and develop engineering talent.
• Manage budgets, headcount, and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with SEMI, ISO, CE, and UL standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and enforce internal processes.
• Lead continuous improvement in control system applications and team operations.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in control systems, automation, or software engineering.
• Proven leadership of software/control engineering teams.
• Strong automation and control system architecture background.
• Knowledge of SEMI GEM Secs and industrial protocols/standards.
• Experience with large automation projects.
• Familiar with SEMI (E82, E88, E153), CE, ISO 13855, UL.
• Proficient in C/C++/C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows.
• Skilled in reviewing/debugging software and firmware.
