Job summary

SEPCO3 is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Foreign Staff) to join the Perlis, Malaysia project team. You will oversee on-site management of temporary construction power systems, plant earthing networks, and industrial lighting, ensuring compliance with local authorities.

You will liaise with TNB and contractors, manage subcontractors, coordinate schedules, inspections, and document submissions for client reviews, consultants, and TNB.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of electrical construction experience in Malaysia.
• Familiarity with local regulations and TNB power requirements is preferred.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) for technical communication.
• Electrical professional certificate or license is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Technical management of temporary construction power systems, plant earthing networks, and site lighting grids.
• Liaise with local power authorities (TNB) to complete regulatory procedures and energization processes.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors, coordinate construction schedule, safety protocols, and on-site execution.
• Organize inspections, quality checks, and formal acceptance with the client, consultants, and TNB.
• Compile and submit engineering construction documents and variations for reviews.
• Prepare method statements and conduct technical briefings, monitoring design variations.
