Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Senai, Johor who will design electrical systems per customer specs, select components, and ensure compliance with international standards. The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience and PE certification is a plus.

You will perform electrical testing, calibration, and validation, prepare CAD schematics and BOMs, and collaborate with mechanical/automation teams. Travel overseas frequently for onsite support is expected.

Qualifications

• Design and develop electrical systems per customer specs and project requirements.
• Ensure designs meet performance, safety and efficiency standards.
• Produce electrical CAD schematics, BOMs, and wiring lists with Copy Exact.
• Comply with ISO, UL, CE, SEMI S2 and other international standards.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems based on customer specifications and project requirements.
• Select suitable electrical components and ensure designs meet performance, safety, and efficiency standards.
• Develop and conduct electrical testing, calibration, and validation for quality and reliability.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot electrical faults, and prepare engineering reports.
• Prepare and maintain electrical CAD schematics, wiring lists, and BOMs in Copy Exact compliance.
• Ensure designs comply with ISO, UL, CE, SEMI S2 standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams for system integration.
• Provide onsite and remote engineering support during manufacturing, system integration, and final testing.
• Serve as the technical expert for electrical engineering matters.
