Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Serendah, Selangor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support maintenance operations and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in the automated manufacturing industry. This role involves executing maintenance tasks, performing preventive maintenance, and providing technical guidance to the team.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of analog and digital circuits.
• Willing to work in Serendah, Selangor.

• Support maintenance operations by coordinating repair work.

Overview

Support maintenance operations by assisting in planning and coordinating repair work with teams and external partners. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and improve system reliability. Execute maintenance tasks and ensure work orders are completed on time and meet company KPIs and standards. Plan and perform preventive maintenance (PM) to keep systems running smoothly. Use data to optimize automation, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. Provide guidance to the technical team and prepare for monthly performance reports to track progress and drive improvements. Assist with energy audits and cost-reduction strategies.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Must possess Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics Engineering, or any related field.
• 2 years of experience in automated manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with inverters, servo/induction motors, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Skilled in PLC programming (Siemens S7-300), SCADA (WinCC), and HMI design (TIA Portal).
• Good understanding of industrial networks, analog/digital circuits.
• Willing to work in Serendah, Selangor
