A technology solutions company in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to engage with customers and manage installation jobs. Responsibilities include providing technical advice about chargers, collaborating on site planning, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have experience as an electrical engineer and knowledge of CAD software.
Engage with incoming leads, understand their requirements, and convert them into confirmed installation jobs through strong, trust-building communication.
Customer Consultation & Technical Advisory:
Clearly explain charger specifications, sizing, and compatibility with the customer's home setup. Help clients understand smart charger features, energy management options, and installation considerations in simple terms.
Cable Routing & Site Planning:
Collaborate with customers to evaluate cable routing, power source access, and physical installation locations—virtually or onsite. Translate technical constraints into clear, actionable solutions.
Ensure smooth coordination between the installation team and the customer. Keep customers updated on timelines, scope, and what to expect before, during, and after the installation.
Follow up to confirm customer satisfaction. Take ownership of any complaints or issues, resolving them with professionalism and urgency.
Act as an internal champion for the home EV charging segment by identifying customer needs, recurring issues, and opportunities for service improvement.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of communications, site conditions, installation details, and customer feedback.
Ad-hoc Support:
Assist management with special projects, field activities, and any other responsibilities necessary to support the EV charging division’s growth.
