Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles including schematic design and circuit analysis.
  • Experience with battery and charger design and testing is a plus.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge intelligent battery and charging power solution systems for our industry-leading communication and security products.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in new product development from concept to mass production, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Design and analyze electrical circuits for battery charging, power supply, and related systems, meeting customer requirements and safety standards.
  • Perform electrical tolerance analysis and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
  • Support prototype and pilot builds, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Conduct electrical verification testing based on product specifications and generate detailed test reports.
  • Release electrical prints and parts qualification reports.
  • Evaluate complex components and develop test procedures and fixtures to ensure compliance with functional specifications.
  • Participate in the testing and evaluation of designs, analyzing results and collaborating with senior engineers.
  • Develop necessary instrumentation skills and learn industry-specific standards for electrical designs.
Basic Requirements Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Less than 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles, including schematic design and circuit analysis.
  • Experience with battery and charger design and testing is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for learning and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with battery cell charging/discharging characteristics and associated design requirements.
  • Knowledge of digital signal communication protocols (e.g., I2C, USB).
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, including Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
  • Experience using schematic capture and PCB layout design tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot digital designs, complemented by a knowledge of RF technology.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a strong plus).
  • Experience handling Hazardous Location Certifications (e.g., ATEX, TIA, INMETRO, MSHA, CSA, or UL) or related products is highly preferred.
