Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced EHS Engineer to join our team. As a EHS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing applicable EHS laws and regulations, responsible for plant EHS, including fire safety daily work. Take part in the annual EHS plan and track the completion of the plant. Organize and formulate the improvement of the factory EHS regulations and other related documents, supervise and check their implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support to implement, maintain EHS system (Inc. ISO14001, ISO45000) to comply with relevant national regulation and EHS standards.
• Maintain hazardous waste life cycle monitoring system and routine hazardous waste management.
• Support to improve and make corrective actions on the problems found by external auditors and inspection.
• Be responsible for risk assessment and work out a solution to eliminate or reduce the risk.
• Develop and facilitate safety training for new employees and contractor safety management accordingly.
• Assist to organize and coordinate fire prevention including emergency evacuation drill, make sure all the firefighting system are in good status.
• Be responsible for accident reporting, investigation, and corrective action tracking.
• Coordinate with government agencies on EHS issues.
• Candidate with plating experience is better.
• Perform other duties as assigned by EHS leader.

Job Requirements

• Must be registered as a Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety & Health) and be the holder of Green Book issued by DOSH.
• College or above graduation diploma, and the relevant majors of EHS. Familiar stamping function.
• At least 8-10 years’ EHS execution and management experience in foreign‑funded manufacturing companies.
• Be familiar with ISO MS14001:2015, IATF and other relevant EHS management system.
• Preferable candidates specialized in Engineering – Stamping/Moulding or equivalent.
• High confidence level to manage the team and presentation.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kulai, Johor.
• Candidates who can start work immediately will have an added advantage.
