If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.

The Construction Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing EHS management systems, policies, and technical standards to ensure full compliance with applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout construction activities.

This role requires strong leadership and extensive technical expertise to proactively identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective control measures across high-risk activities such as lifting operations, working at height, electrical works, and energy isolation, to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

**

  • Technical Program Management: **

Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with EHS requirements and industry best practices.

**

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable local and international EHS regulations and standards, including U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Indonesia Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and National Environment Agency (NEA). Ensure all project policies, procedures, and practices are aligned with these regulatory requirements.

**

  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: **

Conduct comprehensive project risk assessments and maintain a project risk register to identify, evaluate, and control potential safety, health, and environmental risks. Develop and implement effective mitigation measures to eliminate or reduce identified risks and enhance overall project safety and quality.

Analyse audit findings and ensure timely implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions. Provide technical EHS leadership and guidance for high-risk construction activities, including lifting operations, working at height, electrical works, hot work, and energy isolation (LOTO).

**

Lead and manage investigations of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

**

  • Stakeholder Coordination: **

Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, contractors, and relevant external authorities on all EHS-related matters to ensure alignment, compliance, and effective implementation of EHS programs.

Required Experience, Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. An engineering background is preferred.
