Position Summary

East Asia Technology Drives Sales Manager This role leads application initiatives for the drives portfolio, supports building sales enablement and business development, and engages country teams across East Asia Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Single point of contact for application development and GTM; own drives application growth ambition in targeted segments.
  • Adjust the value proposition by applications; improve sales competence for country teams in Building & Infrastructure and Industry.
  • Map approved vendor lists and bi‑monthly opportunity mapping; provide relevant information to the sales, presales, and prescription teams.
  • Coordinate segment‑related priorities with global and regional hubs; differentiate service level and maintain cost competitiveness.
  • Create a community of operations, segment, applications, and line of business; advocate and communicate the segment value proposition.
  • Build data‑based analysis and view of the segment; capture future trends on segments and applications.
  • Monitor business and technology; promote drives application scope across internal and external communities.
  • Build and maintain a high‑performance culture while collaborating with country teams, business units, and support functions with winning strategies.
  • Act as SPOC for defined applications/segments; lead sales enablement initiatives and boost campaigns for the drives portfolio.
  • Identify and implement strategic growth and transformation activities; conduct market analysis to identify gaps and position the company for success.
  • Engage stakeholders: build trust with partners, review pipelines for short‑ and medium‑term focus, and remove obstacles for commercial success to improve hit‑rate.
  • Key performance indicators: orders and sales KPIs, application development, sales competence improvement, and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering.
  • Strong drives experience in Variable Speed Drives and LV/MV System Drives.
  • Deep knowledge of segment/application.
  • Minimum of 10 years of solution/application experience.
  • Collaborator, initiator, and tech‑savvy.
  • Fluent in English; speaking Chinese; multilingual beneficial.
