Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education required.
• 2-4 years of experience working with children preferably at the early childhood level.
• Type 3 or Type 10 ISBOE certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Instruct children in academic, recreational, and social/emotional activities.
• Collaborate with assistants to develop lesson plans.
• Observe and evaluate children’s performance and behavior.
• Establish and enforce rules for behavior.
• Confer with parents to resolve behavioral and academic issues.
