JOB MISSION

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Manage all day-to-day management requirements of the business in Malaysia and Philippines, including KPI’s, Joint Business Plan, forecasting, supply chain, and key reporting such as P&L’s. Meet with distributors for business reviews and manage the overall commercial relationship at all levels.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships between Danone, distributors, and key customers across all sales channels—Off Premise (Modern Trade), E-commerce, and On Premise (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes). Engage at all levels, including in the office, in the field, and at customer HQs, focusing on AFH business.
  3. Formulate and agree on account objectives and strategies with your line manager.
  4. Recommend business ambitions, targets, and priorities, integrating marketing plans and securing commitments from distributors. Develop a deep understanding of all key channels and serve as a lead advisor.
  5. Design a clear Joint Business Plan, set ambitions, and support large account negotiations.
  6. Coordinate cross-functional interactions internally (supply chain, finance, marketing) and externally, with full P&L responsibility, including forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Conduct regular reviews to align with zone strategy.
  7. Achieve Net Revenue & Operating Profit growth targets by managing our distributor network.
  8. Identify opportunities and threats within the area, as well as strengths and weaknesses of the distributor network.
  9. Monitor business indicators such as sales forecasts, P&L, supply chain efficiency, crisis management, and receivables.
  10. Ensure accurate forecasting, collect sales data, and provide insights in monthly reports.
  11. Execute action plans with distributors to maximize sales on the 4 Ps at the point of sales.
  12. Monitor results versus plans and implement corrective actions as needed.
  13. Manage importation licenses to ensure timely validation and receipt.
KEY INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS

Zone Directors, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, other departments, and distributors.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
  1. 5-7 years of experience in a commercial environment, preferably FMCG, especially beverages. At least 3 years working with distributors in SEA, particularly Malaysia. Proven success in distributor management.
SKILLS
  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with clear measurable objectives.
  3. Highly organized with strong planning skills and knowledge of category management.
  4. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  5. Experience in beverages or FMCG preferred.
  6. Leadership, influence, cultural sensitivity, prioritization, business acumen, results focus, enthusiasm, networking, adaptability, sales and negotiation skills, basic marketing knowledge, and budget management skills.
EDUCATION

University Degree.

OTHERS

Willingness to relocate after 2-3 years.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Fluent English; additional languages like French are a plus.
