  • Develop and present talent acquisition strategies, plans, and budgets for Senior Management approval;
  • Translate strategies and plans into programs and execute these to fulfill the approved headcount, including selecting appropriate talent acquisition platforms, designing advertisements, presentations, and content writing;
  • Source, negotiate, recommend, and execute collaboration programs with universities, academies, SKM, career fair exhibitors, and other relevant bodies to build the right market positioning for the company;
  • Supervise direct reports to ensure follow-through on the selection process and closing of positions professionally, providing a positive candidate experience;
  • Participate in weekly recruitment meetings to update progress and forecasts;
  • Analyze data, present findings with recommendations, and seek senior management's guidance for continuous improvement in talent acquisition strategies;
  • Partner with the sales support team on employee retention, development, exit interviews, and counseling sessions;
  • Supervise the monthly payroll process across the group, overseeing regional countries for accuracy and timeliness;
  • Ensure compliance with all local government statutory requirements in Malaysia, meeting deadlines and staying updated on legislation; handle all correspondence with government bodies;
  • Oversee benefits administration, HR document filing, and HRMS management;
  • Handle all staff inquiries related to HR policies and procedures, and escalate concerns for necessary updates or revisions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline, preferably in Human Resource Management;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Retail, Beauty, Cosmetics, or FMCG industry;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Good knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, with up-to-date legal and regulatory knowledge;
  • Effective people management skills, resourcefulness, and mobility;
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese, both oral and written.
