The Senior Lead Engineer will contribute to the architecture, design, and optimization of innovative solutions for the HealthTech, Industrial, Smart Energy, Aerospace, and Capital Equipment segments.

In this role, the Senior Lead Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, project leadership, and customers to ensure solutions meet the highest industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Product Design and Development: Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of technical solutions across multiple market segments, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to develop world-class products in highly regulated markets. Support product realization from conceptual stages through manufacturing transition, including developing technical proposals and estimating costs. Recognized as a subject matter expert in relevant technical areas.
2. Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, regulations, and best practices to enhance design processes, quality, and organizational capabilities. Demonstrate passion for solving complex issues and innovating under tight project constraints.
3. Design for Manufacturing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure products are manufacturable and meet quality standards. Evaluate materials, components, and processes for cost-effectiveness and compliance.
4. Technical Leadership: Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with Celestica's leadership imperatives, including valuing customers, growing talent, and building partnerships.
5. Project Management: Lead complex engineering projects, managing technical, financial, and people aspects. Develop project plans, recognize barriers, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure timely and within-budget delivery. Emphasize a right-first-time, lean, and quality mindset.
6. Technical Skills: Design digital circuits and systems, including MPU/MCU/FPGA/GPU controllers, storage/memory interfaces, and digital interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, DDR, LVDS, SerDes. Proficiency in schematic and layout tools (OrCAD, Cadence Concept/Allegro, Altium Designer). Knowledge of EMC, safety, and environmental compliance. HDL and IP design skills are advantageous.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in product design within a multidisciplinary environment, with multiple product development cycles completed. PHD candidates with less experience may be considered.
• Fluent in English, with strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally, including overseas.
