Job summary

A global engineering firm is seeking a Construction Manager – E&I to supervise E&I construction activities for a major Oil & Gas project in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of experience in the industry, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and effective project coordination. Responsibilities include managing material control and overseeing technical integrity. This role is expected to start in December 2025 and last for approximately 4 months, with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 10 years in E&I construction roles.
• Solid understanding of plant automation systems and welding engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of E&I construction progress.
• Guarantee technical integrity of E&I works and enforce HSE procedures.
• Coordinate activities between the construction contractor and project suppliers.
• Manage and monitor E&I material control throughout construction.
