A leading technology company in Penang is seeking a professional for its CPU IP Validation team. This role involves validating and verifying logic and new architectural features of next-generation CPU IP designs. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and experience in digital logic design along with familiarity with pre-silicon verification tools. Job description

Join Intel’s E-Core/Quark CPU IP Validation team to perform pre‑silicon design verification ensuring next‑generation CPU IP designs meet quality goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Validating and verifying logic and new architectural features of next-generation E-Core/Quark CPU IP designs.
• Developing test plans based on intimate knowledge of architecture and designs of new features.
• Creating new test content and/or test tools.
• Ensuring effectiveness and coverage of tests during qualification of new designs.
• Identifying RTL logic bugs and debugging to root cause and fix, individually or as part of a team.
• Collaborating closely with the architecture group and project design teams.

About You

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of Computer System Architecture.
• Experience in digital logic design, pre‑silicon or post‑silicon validation.
• Familiarity with tools and methodologies for pre‑silicon verification/logic design, including but not limited to System Verilog, PERL/C/C++ programming, and Synopsys simulator (a plus).
