Job summary

sa.global is seeking a motivated and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant to join our Malaysia team. You will guide clients through successful implementations and integrations of D365 F&O, helping them optimize business processes and achieve enhanced performance.

You will cover presales, demos, analysis, configuration, testing, training, and production support, collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
• Experience developing functional specs for D365 F&O enhancements.
• Experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing using best practices or Sure Step.
• Strong knowledge of core D365 F&O modules.
• Excellent business communication and requirement gathering skills.

Responsibilities

• Cover presales activities, demos, analysis, implementation, and end-user training for D365 F&O.
• Document business requirements and map to Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align processes with objectives.
• Create functional design documents guiding development.
• Lead UAT and train customer resources on D365 F&O.
• Ensure quality assurance and project documentation; provide production support.

About The Role

sa.global is looking for a motivated and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through successful implementations and integrations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, empowering them to optimize their business processes and achieve enhanced performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Cover all aspects of consulting - including presales and supporting the sales team, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and training of end users utilising Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Provide expertise and in-depth knowledge of D365 F&O application, evaluating the customer’s business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
• Responsible for documenting the business requirements which express what actions a solution must take and what outcome is expected.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure a comprehensive set of requirements, aligned to business objectives, gaining full understanding of current and future state business processes.
• Facilitate the customer’s decision-making process and develop the functional design document that will drive the development process.
• Responsible for conducting user acceptance testing and train customer resources to successfully use and maintain D365 F&O application.
• Liaise with product vendors on any issues relevant for our customers or the company’s services.
• Ensure that the technical aspects of projects meet required standards for functionality, operability and documentation.
• Work with project managers and team leaders to cater for resource changes across projects.
• Liaise with developers and clients – act as a point of communication.
• Responsible for quality assurance & documentation.
• Production support as required.
• Collaborate with teams globally.
• Always self-update with the latest feature and technology of D365 F&O.

Skills And Experience

• Proven experience in full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
• Demonstrated experience developing functional specifications for D365 F&O enhancements and integrations.
• Proven experience with setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 F&O solutions using best practices implementation methodology and/or Microsoft Sure Step methodology.
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of core D365 F&O modules.
• A working knowledge of best practices in their area of specialization/vertical.
• Technical background / programming concept understanding would be an added advantage.
• Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills.
• A demonstrated logical approach to problem solving and structured approach to introducing change into operational systems.
• Excellent business communication skills with effective presentation and demonstration skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Business intelligence understanding including reporting and analytics.
• Possess a deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers.
• Highly confident with providing support and training to users.
