Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid Practising Certificate by MAHPC (or equivalent national body).
• Preferred Degree in Physiotherapy for advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide high-quality physiotherapy interventions to maximise function.
• Maintain accurate documentation in KCIS/EHR and report findings to referring doctors.
• Counsel patients and families to support self-management and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated care.
• Support service operations, scheduling, and KPI data collection.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise interns and rehab assistants.
• Engage in CPD via training, workshops, and competency assessments.
• Ensure compliance with KPJ policies and MOH/JCI/ISO standards.
• Maintain safe, hygienic therapy environment and proper equipment.
