Job summary

IMAS International School in Kajang, Selangor, is seeking a dedicated Female PE/CCA Teacher for our secondary team. You will develop students' physical fitness, athletic abilities, and co-curricular skills while delivering engaging PE lessons and leading various activities.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Physical Education or related field, a recognized teaching qualification, and 2–3 years' secondary PE experience in an international school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related discipline.
• Teaching qualification or certification recognised in Malaysia or internationally.
• Minimum 2-3 years' teaching experience in secondary physical education.
• Strong knowledge of PE curriculum frameworks and pedagogy.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor students in various sports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver comprehensive physical education lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Organise, coach and supervise co-curricular activities, sports teams and programs.
• Assess and evaluate student progress in PE and CCA, maintaining records and feedback.
• Manage sports equipment and facilities, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Coordinate inter-school competitions, sports days and events.
• Develop training programmes to enhance student performance in various sports.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate PE/CCA with school initiatives and pastoral care.
• Maintain attendance and behaviour records for all CCA sessions.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and involvement in activities.
