Job summary

Ogawa is seeking a dynamic live streaming host for Malaysia (Selangor). You will plan and host engaging shows on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok, craft scripts, and interact with viewers to boost engagement and sales.

Applicants should be fluent in Bahasa Melayu with strong communication and presentation skills, and comfortable with on-camera broadcasts in a fast-paced environment. Prior live-hosting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Bahasa Melayu, both written and spoken.
• Strong familiarity with Lazada/Shopee/TikTok platform, trends, and user behavior.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with live broadcasting and interacting with a live audience.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for social media, digital marketing and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Previous experience in live hosting (Shopee, Lazada), presenting, or related fields is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan and host engaging live streaming sessions on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok.
• Familiarize product selling points, pre-plan live script and flow for smooth shows.
• Interact with viewers by responding to comments and questions; encourage participation.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to brainstorm and execute creative live show concepts.
• Stay updated with platform trends, challenges and features to incorporate into content.
• Ensure high-quality production standards for audio, visuals, and presentation.
• Propose ideas and create short videos to boost viewer engagement.
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting products/services and maintaining a positive image.
• Perform any other duties as assigned
