Job summary

Colossal Media Sdn Bhd is seeking a DTP Artist to design and prepare layout artwork for print and digital media in line with client briefs. You will work with designers, marketing and content teams to ensure brand consistency and print-ready files.

The role requires proficiency in desktop publishing and hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with knowledge of large format printing considered an asset and fluency in English or Bahasa Malaysia.

• Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

As a DTP Artist, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality digital and print layouts, ensuring the final product meets brand standards and client expectations. You will work closely with designers, marketing teams, and content creators to produce visually compelling materials for print and digital media.

Key responsibilities

Design and prepare layout artwork for printing matters such as artwork designs based on client requirements and verifying artwork files for press readiness

Work closely with the sales, marketing and production team to align the design and structure with client requirements to ensure accuracy and consistency before printing production work

Select and validate colours to ensure visual consistency throughout the design process

Ensure high-quality artwork completion using industry-standard software (Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop)

Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior

About you

Possess at least a SPM qualification or Diploma in Art/Design/Creative/Multimedia/Advertising/Media or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience demonstrating proficiency in desktop publishing

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop

Experience in large format printing is an added advantage

Able to communicate in English or Bahasa Malaysia
