Qualifications
  • Degree in any discipline, preferably Accounting, Statistics, Finance or Economics.
  • Min 6‑8 years of working experience in resource management or a similar role within a professional services firm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, outcome focused, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strategic thinking, data‑driven decision making and agile.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives is a plus.
  • A self‑starter who actively fosters a culture of inclusion, integrity, respect and fair treatment and ensures a positive and supportive environment for all team members.
Responsibilities
  • Drive annual strategic planning process across the specific portfolio, including budget planning and management.
  • Plan and schedule appropriate tax professionals to jobs and projects, based on capability and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Review resource utilisation and trends to determine staffing requirements, forecasts and potential roadblocks; analyse relevant data and provide timely reports and information to the management team.
  • Maintain accurate records and database of clients and service team information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve resource management process and operations and ensure compliance with company standards on resource allocations.
  • Resolve resource booking conflicts and gather requirements; act as a resource management focal point for the centre.
  • Engage senior leadership team periodically to understand priorities.
