Job summary

My Power Battery Sdn Bhd is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to transport car batteries from the warehouse to branches and customers. You will load/unload, ensure safe delivery, and maintain vehicle condition.

Responsibilities include route planning with GPS, inventory accuracy, and occasional warehouse duties when not delivering. The role requires physical fitness and a Class D license; GDL is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class D Driving License (Car).
• GDL (Goods Driving License) is an advantage.
• Able to lift and carry automotive batteries.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Operations: Transport car batteries using a 4x4 vehicle and related stock from the warehouse to branches and customer locations safely and on time.
• Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading stock onto the delivery vehicle and unloading it at the destination.
• Inventory Handling: Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are delivered based on Delivery Orders (DO) or invoices.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle and perform routine checks (tyres, water, oil).
• Navigation: Use navigation apps (Waze/Google Maps) to plan routes and avoid delays.
• Support: Assist with basic warehouse tasks or ad-hoc duties when not performing deliveries.

My Power Battery Sdn Bhd is a growing automotive battery specialist. We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. Your main role will be ensuring our products (car batteries) are safely transported from our warehouse to our branches and directly to customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivery Operations: Transport car batteries using 4x4 vehicle and related stock from the warehouse to various branches and customer locations safely and on time.
• Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading stock onto the delivery vehicle and unloading it at the destination. (Note: Car batteries can be heavy; proper handling is required).
• Inventory Handling: Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are delivered based on Delivery Orders (DO) or invoices.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the company vehicle and perform routine checks (tyres, water, oil) to ensure the vehicle is in good running condition.
• Navigation: Use navigation apps (Waze/Google Maps) effectively to plan the best routes and avoid delays.
• Support: Assist with basic warehouse tasks or ad-hoc duties when not performing deliveries.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum SPM level or equivalent.
• License: Must possess a valid Class D Driving License (Car).
• Note: Possession of a GDL (Goods Driving License) is a strong advantage (or willing to apply for one).
• Vehicle Experience: Experience driving a 4x4 / Pickup Truck is preferred.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry automotive batteries (physically fit).
• Attributes: Punctual, responsible, and has a good driving record (no serious traffic offenses).
• Language: Basic communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
