Job description

Responsibilities

• Supervising the individual service contractors involved in the well test operations.
• Responsible for the supervision of the activities and personnel covered during the well test activities on behalf of DSV.
• Responsible for achieving the objectives and the quality of the test in the specific well test program.
• Required to discuss with Drilling Supervisor on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Permit to Work (PTW) and overall drilling operations.
• The Scope of Services is as follows, but not limited to:
  • To provide technical support to Petroleum Engineering department.
  • To prepare detailed and written well test operation job plan for next twenty-four (24) hours, including all engineering calculation, surface well test drawing, DST assembly, & etc.
  • To prepare material inventory, including service contractors tool / consumables
  • To supervise service contractors operation
  • To have JSA and procedural meetings prior to each operation
  • To act as liaison between Kuala Lumpur Office, service contractors and the drilling crew to ensure sufficient co-ordination.
  • To provide a daily well test report and make communication to Kuala Lumpur Office

Requirement

• Minimum Diploma in engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum twenty (20) years experience related to well test operations.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in gas/oil well testing supervisory position minimum one (1) year well testing supervisory for HP well - well familiar with gas/oil well testing operation procedures, equipment and data quality control
• Experience of supervision of TCP operation - well familiar with TCP operation procedures and equipment/tool
• Experience of supervision of CTU and Wireline operation - well familiar with CTU and Wireline operation procedures and equipment/tool
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
• Readiness to work with different cultures and nationalities
• Skills to use Microsoft Office software package for reporting purpose
