Draughtsman, Civil & Structural Design or Architectural Design - Sungai Petani

To be eligible for this role, you will require :

ACertificate/Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Architectural Technology, Building Design, Drafting, or a related field is usually the minimum requirement.

At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an architectural firm or another property developer.

Specific, hands‑on experience in drafting for both landed properties (terrace houses, bungalows) and high‑rise developments (condominiums, serviced apartments) is essential.

Familiarity with other design and visualization tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Lumion and Enscape is a significant advantage.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities will be :

• To create various accurate technical drawings by adhering to various specifications and calculations, including but not limited to handling all detailing and construction drawings.
• To check and revise working drawings.
• To produce drawing details from related documentation.
• To collaborate with project team to develop design from concept through detailed drawings.
• To be able to create and maintain database of drawings, specifications, materials, etc.
• To ensure the drawings are prepared in accordance with the design requirements and specification.
• Printing drawings, compilation and documentations.
• To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

To be eligible for this role, you will require :

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field.

Minimum 3–5 years experience in civil drafting, preferably within the property development or consultancy environment.

Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD with strong technical drafting skill.

Good attention to detail, organizational and time management.

Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities will be :

• To create various accurate technical drawings by adhering to various specifications, including but not limited to handling all detailing and construction drawings.
• To produce drawing details from related documentation.
• To check and correct the drawings.
• To ensure the drawings are prepared in accordance with the design requirements and specification.
• To ensure drawings are well deliverable and meet management timeline schedule.
• To ensure drawings are updated, controlled and in place throughout duration of project.
• To work with other engineering professionals to achieve design goals.
• To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
