Job summary

ECO SOLUTION SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking a drafting technician in Malaysia to prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp, and to develop P&IDs. You will generate shop, isometric, layout and detailed drawings for wastewater treatment and piping installations, coordinating with engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Engineering Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp (mandatory).
• Knowledge of P&ID, shop drawings and isometric drawings.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and time management.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with engineering teams.
• Experience in wastewater treatment, piping systems, mechanical or construction projects will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Develop and revise P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
• Prepare shop drawings, isometric piping drawings, layout plans and detailed engineering drawings.
• Prepare drawings for wastewater treatment systems, piping arrangements, equipment installations and related engineering projects.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers and technical teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Update drawings based on site measurements, engineering modifications and as-built conditions.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions and records.
• Perform other standard drafting duties as assigned.
