Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Drafter/CAD Operator/Designer with at least 5 years of experience in AutoCAD and BIM drafting for ACMV services. Responsibilities include CAD drafting, design support, and compliance review of drawings. Candidates should possess a minimum diploma from a reputable institution and have strong self-management capabilities. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to various engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in AutoCAD / BIM drafting for ACMV services.
• Basic design knowledge in duct sizing and pipe sizing.
• Self-initiative, responsible, self-discipline, able to work independently.

Job description

Drafter/CAD Operator/Designer (ACMV Services)

• Responsible in CAD drafting/BIM modelling and design support.
• Create, edit and update CAD drawings
• Review and ensure all drawing comply with the design, standards, codes of practices & etc.
• Work with project team and sub-contractors to produce/alter drawings.
• Conduct on-site visits, measurements and surveys (if required) to support accurate drafting.
• Complete printing and plotting requests.
• Support project team in technical study and technical specification compliance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Possess a minimum certification or Diploma from reputable institution
• Minimum 5 years experience in AutoCAD / BIM drafting for ACMV services
• Basic design knowledge in duct sizing and pipe sizing
• Required skill(s): AutoCAD, Ms Office, BIM Software (optional)
• Candidate must be self-initiative, responsible, self-discipline, able to work independently, fast learner, positive working attitude, able to work under minimum supervision and having excellent time management skills.
