Job summary

A prominent F&B company is seeking a District Manager to oversee district operations and ensure adherence to business standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the F&B industry, including 2 years in a managerial role. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and involves working closely with outlet teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and possess their own transport.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years working experience in F&B including minimum 2 years in managerial position.
  • Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
  • Willing to work during weekends and public holidays.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Creates district implementation plans to support execution of regional and ZUS Coffee company initiatives to achieve both operational excellence and business results. Follows up consistently to ensure accountability to plans.
  • Plans, identifies, communicates and delegates key responsibilities and practices to the store management team to ensure smooth flow of operations within the district.
Planning and Execution
  • Monitors and manages district-wide management staffing levels. Ensures management-level barista and outlet management team development and talent acquisition in order to achieve and maintain district operational requirements.
Business Requirements
  • Accesses external resources to support district-wide operations and to execute district and regional initiatives such as Recruitment Team, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Development, and Outlet Opening Team.
Outlet Development & Team Building
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with outlet team in the district by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs and concerns.
  • Ensures all outlet baristas, outlet supervisor and outlet manager adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least Degree / Diploma in Business Management or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years working experience in F&B including minimum 2 years in managerial position.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • A valuable Team Player and Critical Thinker.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.
  • Pleasant personality, independent, hardworking, and energetic person.
  • Willing to work during weekends and public holidays.
  • Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
