Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a delivery driver in Malaysia with a valid GDL license and secondary education. A minimum of 1 year related delivery experience is preferred.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, manage goods packing and preparation for shipment, and ensure accurate delivery and proper documentation. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining vehicle condition, and assisting in the factory when not delivering.

Qualifications

Secondary education required.
Must possess valid GDL License.

Responsibilities

Perform delivery and collection activities according to the schedule.
Transport gases, merchandise, or equipment to ensure delivery/collection accuracy.
Verify items against DO / Exchange DO / Cash Sales Bill before delivery.
Ensure DO/Exchange DO/Cash Bill is stamped and acknowledged by customers.
Select storage locations per prescribed storage method.
Examine stock for deterioration and report findings.
Locate, pack and prepare goods for shipment/delivery.
Perform daily vehicle checks (oil, coolant, brakes, etc.).
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and general care.
Handle traffic offences as per policy (excluding overload/excess smoke).
Assist in the factory when no delivery/collection is carried out.
Perform other duties related to the work.

Responsibility

Perform delivery and collection activities in accordance with the delivery schedule planned by the superior.
Transport gases, merchandise, or equipment to ensure 100% delivery / collection accuracy.
Verify items to be sent against DO / Exchange DO / Cash Sales Bill before delivery is carried out.
Ensure that the DO / Exchange DO / Cash Sales Bill is duly stamped and acknowledged by the customers.
Select specific storage locations to stores items in accordance to prescribed storage method.
Examine stock for deterioration and damage, and report findings.
Locate, pack and make ready goods for shipment / delivery.
Perform daily routine check on the vehicle / truck (engine oil level, radiator water level, clutch / brake, fluid level, etc.)
Maintain the general cleanliness and overall care of the vehicle / truck.
Responsibilities for traffic offences committed except overloading & excessive smoke.
Assist in the factory as instructed whenever no delivery / collection is carried out.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
