Director of Manufacturing Operations - Based at Jawa Barat, Indonesia

Global tile manufacturer known for high-quality porcelain and ceramic tiles, with strong presence across Asia. Their designs combine innovation, durability, and aesthetic appeal for residential and commercial use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s daily operations, including Factory, Logistics, Purchasing, HR, and overall Operations.
• Develop and implement operating policies and procedures aligned with the CEO’s strategic objectives.
• Regularly review and evaluate operational performance, reporting results and recommendations to the CEO.
• Design and execute business strategies, plans, and processes to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Promote and reinforce company culture, values, and vision across the organization.
• Set and monitor comprehensive performance and growth targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budgeting process.
• Identify and drive cost‑saving initiatives and operational improvement strategies.
• Lead, motivate, and develop employees to achieve maximum performance and engagement.
• Evaluate performance through data analysis, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Manage relationships with vendors, partners, statutory boards, authorities, and group subsidiaries.
• Ensure staff receive timely training and development aligned with business needs.
• Strengthen and upgrade internal controls, policies, systems, and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with the company’s strategic plan, providing regular status updates to the Board.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; MSc or MBA is an advantage.
• Minimum 10–15 years of leadership experience, preferably in senior management roles.
• Mandarin is essential for the role to effectively communicate with mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
• Proven experience as a senior operational leader, ideally within a manufacturing or MNC environment.
• Overseas working exposure is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required.
