At Qashier, we're redefining how businesses grow and thrive through smart POS and payment solutions. Our Tech Team in Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur, is looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives in fast-paced and agile environments.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their requirements and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
• Manage and configure infrastructure on Google Cloud, AWS, and other cloud services or on-premise.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Continuously evaluate and implement DevOps best practices and tools to improve the development and deployment process.
• Participate in on-call and provide support for production issues when necessary.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong skills in CI/CD automation, scripting (Jenkins, Bash, Python), and Linux systems.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Familiar with Git and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• A team player with sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

Preferred skills

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Engineer, etc.).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity.
• Previous experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
