A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking a Development Tools Software Engineer to develop software solutions for silicon debug operations. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and programming experience in C/C++/Python. The role offers a hybrid work model, focusing on innovative software tool development in the semiconductor industry.
Yield Tools group under Intel's Foundry Technology and Manufacturing (FTM) organization is looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative software engineer to develop mission-critical software solutions for our design and process teams.
As a Development Tools Software Engineer you will develop tools, flows and methodologies to support silicon debug operations in the FIFA lab, enable deployment of EDA tools such as Synopsys Avalon/SysNav and development of capabilities in and around such EDA Tools; development of die, wafer and package level debug capabilities for foundry; development of tools to analyze sort and class failures to support process and product development; webapp development and support, development of new image processing methods for yield applications. You will be required to find innovative solutions to problems, ensure code quality to enable deployment in a production environment.
You will work closely with a talented group of engineers who are experts in their fields and take on challenging real-world problems to advance Intel's march along IDM 2.0
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Candidate must have a Bachelors or Master's degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus.
6 months experience in the following: Programming (C/C++/Python) and Linux environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of experience in the following:
CAD tool development
Familiarity with design and validation tools and flows by external vendors (e.g. Synopsys, Siemens)
Experience in React.js, React hook, and component-based architecture
Experience in Javascript, familiarity with latest Ecmascript versions
QT programming
Implementing efficient data structures for software tool development
Implementing efficient (runtime and memory) algorithms to solve CAD problems
Numerical algorithm design
Computational geometry algorithms
