Job summary

Xiaomi Technology is seeking a proactive design intern to support our global campaigns in Kuala Lumpur. You will collaborate with marketing, product and PR teams to craft visual assets that strengthen brand visibility.

The role offers practical exposure to design projects, mentorship from experienced designers, and opportunities to contribute to real campaigns within a dynamic, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design, multimedia, visual arts or related field.
• Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or CapCut; video editing knowledge is a plus.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail, able to translate ideas into visuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating visual assets for social media, promotional materials, product campaigns and internal communications.
• Design layouts, infographics and marketing collaterals aligned with Xiaomi’s brand identity.
• Support production of short videos, animations and other multimedia content.

Job description

• Creative Content Design: Assist in creating visual assets for social media, promotional materials, product campaigns, and internal communications.
• Graphic Support: Design layouts, infographics, and marketing collaterals that align with Xiaomi's brand identity.
• Digital Media: Support the production of short videos, animations, and other multimedia content.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and PR teams to deliver creative solutions that enhance brand visibility.
• Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist in event design, store display visuals, and other creative projects as required.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and techniques to improve creative output.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or related fields.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or CapCut; knowledge of video editing tools is a plus.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to translate ideas into visual concepts.
• Good communication skills in English (Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an advantage).
• Proactive, responsible, and a strong team player.
• Prior experience in content creation, design projects, or social media visuals is an added advantage.
