Job summary

Airswift in Malaysia is seeking an engineer with a Diploma in engineering to contribute to design and analysis across projects, delivering cost-effective and safe engineering solutions.

You will select methods, perform work, and optimize designs within specifications, coordinate with vendors and subcontractors, plan activities, ensure interfaces, and meet contractual and SBM requirements while applying lessons learned and managing change impacts.

Qualifications

• Engineer's Diploma in relevant discipline.
• 0–5 years of experience in any industry.
• Experience with engineering design tools, concept development, detailed design, packaging and marine analysis.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• You are responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
• You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
