Job summary

Lion Group is seeking a junior Interior Designer in Klang, Malaysia, to assist in planning and coordinating store layout and renovation projects. You will help prepare layout drawings and design documents, coordinating with supervisors, buyers, and external vendors to ensure concepts are implemented on time.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic SketchUp knowledge, along with strong presentation and teamwork skills, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for layout drawings; basic knowledge of SketchUp for 3D drawings and simple renderings.
• Good presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Able to work well in a team, with good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design Team in planning, executing, and coordinating store layout and renovation projects.
• Assist in preparing layout drawings and design documentation, and coordinate closely with superiors, buyers, and external vendors.
• Ensure design concepts are implemented accurately and projects are completed according to schedule.
• Assist in sourcing materials, samples, and obtaining quotations for design proposals.
• Support space planning and concept development for new stores and renovation projects.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements, monitor site progress, and ensure design accuracy and compliance with approved plans.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Design Team as required.
