Job summary

A leading Malaysian financial institution is seeking a professional to develop and implement capability development strategies for branch personnel. Responsibilities include designing competency development roadmaps, executing training needs analysis, and ensuring compliance with training standards. Candidates must be Malaysian citizens with a Bachelor's degree in HR, Learning & Development, or a related field, plus at least 8 years of relevant experience. This is a permanent position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Qualifications

  • Pass Malay Language test at SPM level.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in L&D is preferred.

Job description
JOB SUMMARY

Develop, define and implement capability development strategies for branch personnel through curriculum planning, programme management, training standards and effectiveness monitoring to ensure KWSP’s service delivery remains consistent, competent and high‑impact in support of the organisation’s physical and operational transformation objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Design and enhance the competency development roadmap in alignment with PC’s Job Specific Competency (JSC) and Leadership Competency (LC) frameworks.
  2. Plan and execute the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the entire PC organisation, including Regions and Branches and develop the annual training calendar and training plan.
  3. Ensure all training implementations comply with KWSP’s standard courses and training procedures.
  4. Develop the annual training plan for Branch Academy and identify potential Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and retirees to serve as module trainers.
  5. Propose course curricula and annual programme plans under the Branch Academy to the PC Learning Committee (comprising Heads of Department/Regional Directors).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in HR, Learning & Development (L&D), Business, Management, or an equivalent field.
  • Possess at least 8 years of experience in the field of learning and development (L&D) is an added advantage.
