A new restaurant opening in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join their dynamic team. The role includes assisting in kitchen operations, maintaining food standards, and contributing to menu development. Candidates should have 3–5 years of culinary experience, particularly in grilled and Balinese-inspired cuisine. Join us for international exposure and enticing career growth prospects.
Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
Ensure dishes are prepared to standard, with consistent taste and presentation.
Support the team in maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Contribute ideas and feedback during menu development and food tasting sessions.
Work closely with the opening team to set up kitchen systems and processes.
3–5 years of relevant culinary experience, preferably in grilled, Asian fusion, or Balinese-style cuisine.
Passionate about food, teamwork, and creating memorable dining experiences.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Willing to learn and grow — overseas training opportunities available for selected candidates.
Able to work in Kuala Lumpur area.
