Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accurate customs documentation and declaration processes
• To liaise with Kastam Malaysia for the declaration and clearance of goods for inbound/outbound
• Ensure compliance with the Malaysian Customs Act and related regulations
• Assist in delivery and submission of proper paperwork to the authority to ensure the import/export shipment is smooth
• Maintain strong and productive working relations with key clients, carriers, customs
• Follow-up closely with requirements and changes needed in custom forwarding
• Monitor shipping schedules, port operations, and document submissions
• Ensure all declarations are done via eDeclare, SMK, or uCustoms
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports for internal audits

Requirements

• Min 1 years experience in freight forwarding/shipping industry operations
• Experience in custom liaison, understanding of SOP and regulations
• Able to coordinate, follow-up and maintain cordial relationship with the external parties
• Familiar with Custom Declaration & Formalities
• Basic Knowledge On HS Codes
• Possess own transport, able to travel within klang valley
