Job summary

UNIKL BIS invites applications for the role of Professor (Dean / Head of Campus) in the Dean's Office. The appointee will provide strategic leadership, steer campus-wide plans and KPIs, and oversee policy, quality standards, and governance.

The role emphasizes building partnerships with industry and academia, driving research, consultancy and income generation, and ensuring sound financial and facility management in alignment with university priorities.

Qualifications

• PhD in Management, Entrepreneurship, HRM, Leadership or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operations, campus, facilities, or institutional management.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in higher education or similar settings.
• Significant industrial or professional experience in management/entrepreneurship/HRM.
• Strong networking with industry, academia and professional bodies.
• Strong analytical skills including statistics, research methodology and predictive modelling.
• Doctoral qualification supported by substantial academic and industry experience.
• Proven academic excellence with publication record in indexed journals.
• Strong teaching, mentoring and student development capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the campus/faculty.
• Lead development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans and KPIs.
• Oversee academic policies, quality standards and governance.
• Develop strategic partnerships with industry, government, and academia.
• Drive research, publication, consultancy, innovation, and income generation.
• Monitor financial performance, budgeting and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure effective use of facilities, infrastructure and resources.
• Coordinate accreditation, audits, quality assurance and reviews.
• Identify opportunities for growth, new programmes, internationalisation and revenue.
• Manage strategic issues involving staff and students in line with policies.
