We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Indoor Sales Executive to support our regional electronics components business. This role is responsible for managing RFQs end-to-end, issuing accurate and timely quotations, maintaining RFQ funnel visibility, and supporting the conversion of opportunities into sales.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong commercial awareness, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to perform effectively under tight timelines.
1. RFQ & Quotation Management
Manage all incoming RFQs.
Prepare, issue, revise, and track quotations in accordance with internal pricing and commercial guidelines.
2. RFQ Ownership & Funnel Management
Take full ownership of assigned RFQs and accounts.
Proactively follow up on submitted quotations and update RFQ funnel status regularly.
Ensure accurate tracking and smooth handover to the sales team when required.
3. KPI & Deal Support
Primary KPI: Respond to RFQs within 24 hours.
Support deal closure through timely follow-up and close coordination with the sales team.
4. Customer Service & Communication
Provide professional and responsive customer support throughout the RFQ and order cycle.
Address customer inquiries, pricing clarifications, lead time updates, and order status requests promptly.
Maintain strong communication with customers to ensure service excellence and long-term relationship development.
Handle customer complaints or issues in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
5. Commercial & Industry Knowledge
Apply working knowledge in:
MOQ / SPQ
Lead Time (LT)
Basic commercial and payment terms
6. Industry Ecosystem Awareness (Added Advantage)
Understanding of the electronics industry ecosystem, including OEMs, EMS providers, distributors, and suppliers.
7. Design-to-Market Awareness (Added Advantage)
Familiarity with the electronics product lifecycle, from design-in → bidding → production, to support commercial decision-making.
8. Ad-hoc Research & Proposal Support
Conduct pricing research, sourcing checks, and commercial feasibility analysis as required.
Prepare proposals and recommendations under the guidance of the reporting manager.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for quotation analysis, pricing comparison, and reporting.
Proficient in VLOOKUP and basic Excel formulas.
Diploma or Degree in Business / Marketing, Supply Chain, or with relevant industry experience
Experience in electronics components distribution, EMS, OEM, or related industry preferred
Familiar with RFQ workflows, quotation processes, and commercial terms
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP
Able to work under pressure, manage multiple RFQs, and meet tight turnaround times
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
Structured and disciplined in execution
Commercially minded with technical understanding
Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Willing to learn and work closely under guidance
Regional exposure across Asia-Pacific markets
Clear KPIs with measurable impact
