Job summary

STMicroelectronics Sdn Bhd is seeking a IT/Datacenter support professional to handle daily operational tasks in a datacenter environment. The role includes monitoring job schedulers, ensuring timely file transfers to Central, and managing alert systems across applications, infrastructure, and networks.

You will provide Level 1 ServiceNow ticket handling and collaborate with global DataCenter teams, with opportunities to work on Windows, Linux, and HPUX platforms.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field.
• Willingness to work on shifts (8-12 hours).
• Minimum 1 year experience in IT-related field.
• Able to work on Windows, Linux & HPUX platforms (workstation/servers).
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Capable of working independently with self-discipline according to standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor job schedulers and ensure completion and status.
• Ensure critical files are sent/received to Central on time.
• Handle alert monitoring systems including application, infrastructure, and network monitoring.
• Provide Level 1 ServiceNow ticket handling and correct distribution to responsible teams.
• Work with backup tools to execute and monitor backup status.
• Collaborate with Worldwide DataCenter staff and other domain support teams.
